Veterinarian & CEO
Dr. Laura Miller, DVM/CEO/Owner
Living my dream is the name of my game and I would love to share my expertise with you! As a private owner of Arbor Hills Veterinary Clinic, I get to work in a great environment that I have cultured. I practice the medicine style I want to and am not forced to follow the ways of the corporate practices, which are becoming very abundant. My approach to veterinary medicine is a proactive approach. I would much rather prevent a problem than find a problem and have to react to the pet’s ailments. I do this by helping to educate clients and my team. If my client’s understand and know what to expect and my employees can watch for signs that are concerning and report to me, then I can efficiently help that animal. I often get a thank you from my clients for spending that extra time to explain everything. So please if you don’t know or don’t understand I would love to hear from you so we can clear up any confusion! When I am not practicing veterinary medicine I am enjoying my time with my husband and a plethora of animals. I can be found delving into the dungeons of nerdy video games, outside playing with my animals, swimming or taking a hike with my phone as a camera or occasionally will dust off that Nikon in the closet. I also volunteer time to the Michigan Veterinary Medical Association as a board member and help other veterinarians in my district stay on top of the current news and debates.
Executive Managers
Kendra, Vice President of Operations
Kendra has served as the Vice President of Operations at Arbor Hills Veterinary Clinic since August 2021.
She is passionate about helping the clinic grow while supporting both the team and the clients we serve. A self-described lectophile and bibliophile, Kendra loves spending her free time reading whenever she can.
She has a special love for giant breed dogs, especially English Mastiffs.
Her favorite colors are pink and black.
Lance, Vice President of Administration
Lance is the Vice President of Administration at Arbor Hills Veterinary Clinic.
From a young age, he has been involved in animal care and wildlife-related experiences. In grade school, he assisted with animal adoption events throughout Michigan and later mentored with the DNR at the Wolf Lake State Fish Hatchery in Kalamazoo.
Outside of work, Lance enjoys spending time outdoors walking local forests and lakes, as well as playing cozy video games, watching horror films and musicals, and practicing photography.
His pets include his dog Luna, two cats named Fiest and Cetacean, and a corn snake named Jörmungandr (Jörmun for short).
His favorite colors are neon green, neon pink, and blue.
Licensed Veterinary Technicians
Melissa, Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)
Melissa is a Licensed Veterinary Technician at Arbor Hills Veterinary Clinic.
She has 11 years of experience in veterinary medicine, with a background in private practice, teaching, exotics, and emergency medicine.
Outside of work, she enjoys video games, Costco trips, and kayaking.
Her pets include Akuma and two crested geckos.
Ashlee, Licensed Veterinary Technician
Ashlee is a LVT at Arbor Hills Veterinary Clinic.
She has 34 years of experience in veterinary medicine and a strong passion for caring for animals of all kinds.
Outside of work, Ashlee enjoys lake life, traveling, history, and reading.
Her pets include two dogs, two cats, and a bearded dragon.

Reegan, Veterinary Assistant
Reegan is a Veterinary Assistant at Arbor Hills Veterinary Clinic.
She has four years of experience in veterinary medicine and enjoys supporting patient care on a daily basis.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, boating, spending time with family, and food.
Her pets include a cat named Ivan the Terrible and a dog named Sage.
Ashley, Veterinary Assistant
Ashley is a Veterinary Assistant at Arbor Hills Veterinary Clinic.
She has over 5 years of experience in veterinary medicine and is currently in her 6th semester of Purdue University’s Veterinary Technology Distance Learning program.
Outside of work, she enjoys camping, Cedar Point, resin crafting, and spending time with her family.
Her pets include two cats, two rabbits, and a cockatiel.
Makayla, Veterinary Assistant & Boarding Attendant
Makayla is a Veterinary Assistant and Boarding Attendant at Arbor Hills Veterinary Clinic.
She has been with the clinic for since 2025 and has gained experience in boarding care while learning more about veterinary medicine.
Outside of work, she enjoys art, fishing, camping, color guard, and spending time with her dogs.
Her pets include two dogs, five cats, a bearded dragon, and a tortoise.

Nazir, Customer Service Representative (CSR)
Nazir is a Customer Service Representative at Arbor Hills Veterinary Clinic.

Sarah, Boarding Attendant, Digital Coordinator and Graphic Designer
Sarah is a Boarding Attendant, Digital Coordinator and Graphic Designer at Arbor Hills Veterinary Clinic.
She holds an Associate Degree in Graphic Design and combines her creative background with her passion for animal care and supporting the clinic.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys watching streamers, playing Nintendo Switch, and cooking and baking.

Dakota, Boarding Attendant
Dakota is a Boarding Attendant at Arbor Hills Veterinary Clinic.
He has over one year of experience in veterinary medicine and developed a lifelong interest in animal care through growing up around dogs.
Outside of work, Dakota enjoys reading, anime, and attending musicals.
He has two dachshunds.
Clinic Pets
Bailey
Bailey has been a resident or Arbor Hills since 2025. He likes to antagonize the employees and sometimes the pets. He gets the naughty boy award and the sweet cuddle bug award at the same time.
Walter
Walter has been a resident of Arbor Hills since 2025. He is a belly rub fanatic and requires his water with ice cubes. Don’t let his cute face fool you. He likes to create mischief with his brother Bailey.
