This position is part-time with the potential to become a full-time position.
We are a busy small animal practice seeking an upbeat and enthusiastic veterinary receptionist that would like to join our fantastic, close-knit team. Experience preferred. Some of the job duties include but are not limited to:
- Greeting and welcoming patients and clients kindly and with sincerity.
- Answering telephone calls professionally and returning e-mails.
- Scheduling appointments appropriately using our designated software.
- Receiving and verifying payments and balancing sales at the end of the day.
- Liaising with courier services and laboratories to ensure that samples are delivered and collected on time.
- Prior experience is recommended but not required.
Other:
Receptionists must have excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills, be compassionate, a positive attitude, follow-through and excellent communication and teamwork skills. Multi-tasking is essential. Punctuality is expected.
